State Audio

The software disappears. The creative state remains.

State Audio builds music software that gets out of the way, so the tools recede and the playing comes forward.

We make tools for the part of music that matters: playing it.

Most music software asks you to become a technician: to learn the gear, the signal chain, the settings, before you can make a sound you love. State Audio starts from the opposite belief: the software should carry the technical weight, so you stay in the creative one.

Everything we build follows from that. Less setup. Fewer decisions that are not musical ones. More of the state where you are just playing, and the result already sounds the way you meant it.

A guitar plugin built on that belief. It helps the sound in your hands become the sound on the record: finished, placed, and sitting in the song without making you stop being the player.

It is where State Audio begins.

A family, taking shape.

Flowstate Amp is the first of several tools that will share one idea: software shaped around what you are trying to make, and quiet enough to get out of the way while you make it.

We will show each one when it is real, not before.

Built by a guitarist, not a corporation.

State Audio is the work of a player with more than 50 years on the instrument, who got tired of the gap between what a guitar feels like to play and what it sounds like on playback, and built the tools to close it.

No committee. No legacy to protect. Just someone who knows the problem firsthand, building the thing he always wanted.
